I don’t particularly enjoy much of K-pop (or at least what it’s become), but this reminds me of why I will always remain loyal to Korean hip-hop.

Seth Tara - Know Where You Stand (2010)

Seth Tara has shot an inspiring series for the History Channel entitled, “Know Where You Stand.” The set depicts modern people revisiting historic landmarks, with a black and white layer from the past.

Whoa.

The best engagement rings are the ones that hold significance. Japan-based Torafu Architects coated a ring in a thin layer of silver that rubs off over time to reveal an 18-karat, gold wedding band beneath. By wearing each ring, the time shared between two people can thus be physically seen, in order to remind them of how beautiful and strong long-lasting love can truly become as time passes.

Everything smells like France today.

Meet Misty

20s

Why are the 20s so tumultuous?

Moving, far away, back home, never to come back.

People move in and out of each others’ lives.

Like TV shows that are good for two, three seasons.

And then gone, not quite forgotten, but best left in memories and late-night jokes.

Several get married. Others vow never to.

Career changes, over and over.

The only constant is change. Who said that?

Everyone tells us what to do, where to go, how to decide.

Hypocrites.

“Live your life (responsibly)”

“Do what you love (as long as it makes you money)”

Cut the noise. Listen to yourself. Pray a lot.

Maybe it’s not about swimming the current, but keeping your head just above it to breathe.

And bring back the old Official.fm, dangnabit.
